Two Warm Springs Residents Sentenced in Shooting
Portland, Ore. – Victor M. Becerra Jr., 26, and Daniel Arce, 19, residents of Warm
Springs, Oregon, were sentenced today to prison terms of 45 months and 29 months,
respectively, before District Court Judge Ancer Haggerty. Both defendants previously plead
guilty to charges of assault resulting in serious bodily injury, involving the shooting of another
Warm Springs man on February 4, 2007. Upon release from custody, both defendants will serve
a three year eriod of supervised release. The case was investigated by the Warm Springs Police
Department and the FBI, Bend, Oregon Office.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Billy J. Williams.
