Founding Member of White Supremacist Organization,
the European Kindred (EK) Gang, Pleads Guilty in Federal
Court to a Firearms Offense
Metro Gang Task Force Investigation Results in Two Portland Residents Pleading Guilty to a Federal Firearms Offense
PORTLAND, OR—David Patrick Kennedy, 41, and Christina Marie Allen, 30, pled guilty
today in federal court before the Honorable Michael W. Mosman to knowingly providing a
firearm to a convicted felon. At the defendants’ arraignment last August, it was revealed that
Kennedy is the founding member of the European Kindred (“EK”) gang which is a white
supremacist organization. Sentencing has been scheduled for November 2, 2009. Allen’s
pretrial release will continue, and Kennedy will remain in custody pending the sentencing. The
defendants face a maximum sentence of ten years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, two to
three years of supervised release, and a $100 fee assessment.
This matter was investigated by the Metro Gang Task Force, which consists of law
enforcement personnel from the FBI, ATF, Portland Police Bureau, Vancouver Police
Department, Gresham Police Department, Milwaukie Police Department, Beaverton Police
Department, and the Hillsboro Police Department. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant
United States Attorneys Fred Weinhouse and Fred Slaughter.
