Public's Help Needed in Bank Robbery
Case
FBI Agents and Springfield Police Officers
are asking for the public's help in identifying a bank
robber who held up the Liberty Bank at 1008 Harlow
Road in Springfield on Tuesday, February 5. The robbery
happened at about 11:35 a.m. The man walked into the
bank, wrote out a note on a withdrawal slip, and approached
a teller. After handing the note to a teller, he left
the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Witnesses describe him as:
White man
Age: 60's
Build: Medium to stocky
Hair: Short gray hair with dark streak on top
Facial hair: Short, groomed beard
Other: Wore glasses and a light gray jacket
