Public's Help Needed Finding Escaped Bank Robbery Suspect
The FBI is asking for the public's assistance
in locating a bank robbery suspect who escaped custody
while awaiting trial. JACK CHRISTOPHER BURCH, III,
was in the custody of federal pre-trial services employees
at the time of his disappearance February 11. They
had taken him to a health care facility in downtown
Portland to receive a medical evaluation. He walked
away from the facility at about 12:30 p.m.
A federal grand jury indicted BURCH on one count of
bank robbery for the January 17, 2008, robbery of Bank
of America in Gresham. Gresham police officers arrested
him the same day.
BURCH is:
White man
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 120 pounds
Hair: Short, brown
Eyes: Hazel
Other: Wears glasses
Anyone with information about BURCH's location is
asked to call the FBI at (503) 224-4181twenty-four
hours a day or call 911 if there is an immediate concern.
