FBI and Salem Police Ask for Help Identifying Bank Robber

The FBI and Salem Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank located at 3997 Commercial Street SE in Salem at about 9:15 Thursday morning. The woman was wearing heavy make-up, including a great deal of blush and lipstick smeared all over her face. The woman entered the bank, approached a teller, demanded cash, and threatened that she had a weapon. When she received cash, she left the bank on foot.

Witnesses describe the suspect as:

White woman
Age: early 20’s
Height: 5’1” – 5’2”
Weight: 150 pounds
Build: Heavy
Hair: Dark brown
Eyes: Wearing dark oval glasses

Wearing: Dark black or brown Nike hat, dark over-sized ¾ length jacket, brown leather gloves, white tennis shoes.
